The Strategic Partnerships & Communications Lead is responsible for strategy and all processes leading to the acquisition, retention, and engagement of vendors (small to mid-size businesses) who utilize the Avisare platform. At Avisare, we are creating a new category in the market which requires a novel approach to creative messaging and positioning. You are in charge of growing and owning the vendor network which will involve a variety of different initiatives such as presenting to chambers of commerce, exhibiting at conferences, partnering with business associations,  and developing video & content marketing, etc. You will also be asked to analyze and interpret data collected on the Avisare platform to monitor usage and grow engagement. This is a perfect opportunity for a marketing professional who seeks the freedom and support to design and implement their own unique marketing strategy and see it through to execution.

Your objective is to create innovative campaigns that educate our audience of small businesses on what features and functionality will help them better compete to win contract opportunities. You will come up with creative ways to promote and instill community within the marketplace, analyze the results, report to the team and continuously improve. You will become an expert in marketing and articulating why the Avisare platform is an essential tool for small businesses while taking ownership of the results & impact of this messaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Study the Avisare software platform and know the features & functionality intimately. Analyze system usage from vendors and suggest improvements as needed. Provide vendor support to vendors attempting to register on the system.
  • Develop and execute effective outreach marketing strategies including outreach to business associations and government agency development groups. Take a truly grassroots and innovative approach to find channels that reach our target vendors.
  • Perform a client-facing role with potential marketing channel partners that can help grow the vendor network.
  • Translate technical details into benefits for the SMB users and communicate those benefits in ways that excite our user base
  • Follow and analyze market trends to appropriately position products and propose new innovative ways to continuously evolve our processes
  • Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, product launch campaigns, video tutorials, webinars, media outlets, etc.)
  • Craft compelling messaging across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)
  • Test marketing product features, releases and ad copy
  • Talk to vendors directly – respond to chat inquiries and emails from our vendors
  • Other duties as assigned by CEO

Requirements

  • 5 years experience in B2B Marketing, strategic partnerships and/or marketing to SMBs
  • Experience in studying user behavior
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated & digital marketing campaigns)
  • Excellent communication skills; a keen eye for detail; creative mindset
  • Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar field or equivalent work experience
  • Background in design and copywriting is a plus
  • Background working for a large agency is a plus
  • Background working for a start-up or small business is a plus
  • Sense of humor

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for handling customer accounts daily, navigating large, bureaucratic organizations to build relationships at multiple levels. Our clients require a hands-on approach the encompasses both strategic assessment, data analysis and support/guidance on how to utilize the system to achieve results. Your job is to know everything you possibly can about your client and to make solving their problems your biggest priority. You are the problem-solver for your clients – the fixer. Successful account managers will know the issues that face your client, what their internal processes are and what vendors need to know to navigate the client’s procurement process effectively. By offering superior technical support to small, medium, and large businesses via Avisare, you become the client expert and are able to analyze their needs and offer tailored products for them as a natural extension of their team.

Applicants should have previous tactical and strategic experience running new accounts for large organizations and making valuable contributions to existing customers. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment, delivering under strict deadlines and learning software systems. Handling multiple client accounts in a variety of pre-sales and account management projects, leading demos for new and existing clients and providing technical assistance for the system all at once are all key requirements of the job. Responsibilities

  • Have a deep understanding of the Avisare platform and help clients and vendors navigate the system
  • Network within the organization to understand the decision makers’ needs and the daily users’ needs. Facilitate communication between the two groups when necessary.
  • Send quarterly CSAT and NPS surveys
  • Guide client management and decision makers to understand how to properly use the system; Design training programs to help daily users become comfortable with the system in the most effective manner and non-daily users to get the best results from the system; Lead training programs for new clients.
  • Understand clients biggest frustrations with their current processes and help alleviate those pain points.
  • Provide technical support to current users (both vendors and clients) and lead demos/webinars for new clients in sales/business development meetings
  • Do your homework – Research background info on client accounts prior to meetings and customize client presentations to address their specific procurement process needs
  • Understand client needs and present client pain points on a weekly basis to Avisare staff; work with product management to recommend feature improvements to the system based on those needs; help analyze data around system use
  • Network and represent Avisare at client and industry functions and conferences; travel as necessary
  • External Reporting: Assist clients in building reports through the Avisare system and with all reporting needs
  • Internal Reporting: create monthly client usage summary, performance report, and retention report
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant work experience in an account management role for a B2B software sales company
  • Ability to build relationships with senior level professionals and work well under pressure

Our firm is growing and we’re in need of a motivated and adaptable individual to support our senior management team as Chief of Staff. As a strategist and doer, you will ensure streamlined activities within the organization based on company priorities.

In this critical role, you will organize and prioritize key issues and required information for the CEO to facilitate efficient decision-making and better lead the team. You are the point of contact on top initiatives between top management and other team members providing oversight and leading projects of high importance. In this highly visible role you will assist with high-profile client meetings, investor meetings, crafting external communication and general company management. Your primary tasks will focus on client engagement and successful execution of client contracts along with assessing which conferences, speaking engagements, interviews and thought leadership opportunities the CEO should tackle. You will be tasked with providing more structure, process, and administration to the office of the leader for improved efficiency and operations and driving those priorities through management of OKRs and key performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Help the CEO identify priorities, strategically align her time with those priorities, and revisit them regularly to assess progress
  • Provide communications support: drafting emails, reports, presentations, internal and external communications, white papers, case studies and promote efforts through social media posts
  • Lead a variety of long-term, cross-organizational projects through project management, press coordination and data & analytics tracking
  • Own performance metrics and ensure all projects align in meeting those metrics
  • Thoroughly understand the Avisare system and help with all aspects of the business when necessary. You should understand sales and marketing roles enough to help when needed.
  • Attend client meetings and take notes; assist the CEO in assigning action items after the meeting
  • Attend industry events and conferences when needed; represent Avisare at community events
  • Assist with fundraising preparation & strategy researching venture capitalists, interpreting feedback and coordinating meetings.
  • Assist with new hire strategy, job description creation and posting and helping build an encouraging company culture

Qualifications:

  • Jack-of-all-trades, with experience in wide-ranging or cross-functional areas, and an eagerness to learn new skills
  • Strategic thinker, data-driven and analytical in approach to solving problems
